The first book in this series didn't stand out to me so I was a bit reluctant in spending my time and money on this sequel, but I was pleasantly surprised! I am a nit-picker, so a few things bothered me - like Miller being a bit of a self-righteous ahole, and the fact he never really redeemed himself for leaving Garret. But this is a good read, and I'm glad I gave the writer another chance, I'm looking forward for her next works and the rest of this series!
